Teresa Rodriguez
Hello! My name is Teresa and I have been working with Kimball Day Care for over 15 years. The quality of care and the professional development this day care provides for its employees has been one of the key motivation factors that keeps me here. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. It has been an absolute pleasure to work at a center that provides a safe, fun, and caring learning environment for the children. Being the site director of this center is an absolute privilege and I can't wait to see what is next for the future growth of this center!
Anabel Torres
My name is Anabel Torres. I joined Kimball Day care in 2015, and last year I became the Early Head Start Director. I am currently working towards completing my BA in Early Childhood Education. All these years have been a wonderful experience working with our Humboldt Park Community. I was born and raised here in Chicago. I come from a Hispanic family. Growing up, I was not familiar with what a Day Care Center was like. For this reason, I want to be dedicated to our children and families and make sure children at our Day Care center receive a good early education.
Thalia Chavez
My name is Thalia Chavez, and I am the Head Start Director for Kimball Day Care. Before that, I was a teacher for five years at Kimball. I graduated from National Louis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Child Development and a minor in Administration. I am currently enrolling in school again to go for my Master's Degree in Early Child Development. I always enjoyed helping others learn and grow. I have a passion for teaching and working with families. Kimball Daycare is like my second home. Here at Kimball Day Care, we work together to help every child and parent succeed in accomplishing their goals.
